When it comes to cool, no one comes close to the debonair Feroz Khan, in more ways than one. And age has nothing to do with it. Recently, he travelled with a male friend to London to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to Indian cinema. Naturally, the organisers were more than willing to put up his guest at their cost but Feroz heard nothing of the sort. He simply handed over his credit card to son Fardeen and asked him to take care of it.

Despite the organisers protesting, Fardeen told them that since it was his father’s wish, he had to obey him. In an age where actors and actresses charge shampoo bills and their assorted shopping on foreign outdoors to producers and show organisers, Feroz’s act came as a surprise to the organisers and people present. Well, that’s him and it’s refreshing to know that some of them still have class and panache.
