Jennifer Aniston is pining for rumoured new boyfriend John Mayer. Days after they were spotted on a date together in Miami, singer Mayer has now returned to New York, leaving Aniston in Florida. A source said, “They already miss each other.”

A friend of Mayer’s added, “It’s very real. They’ve been seeing each other for a few weeks now.” The couple were first seen in public together last week when they enjoyed a private lunch date. Pictures have since been released showing the couple being affectionate to one another on a beach and enjoying dinner together. Aniston is currently in Miami shooting her new movie Marly and Me with Owen Wilson.

Since splitting from her last serious boyfriend Vince Vaughn in 2006, the former Friends’ star has been linked to Orlando Bloom, co-star Wilson and British model Paul Sculfor. Mayer has previously dated Cameron Diaz and Jessica Simpson
