Sarah Jessica Parker says New York is impossible to live in. The actress, who reprises her role as Carrie Bradshaw in the big screen adaptation of the hit US TV series Sex and the City, believes the city has changed dramatically since she first moved there.  She is quoted by the National Enquirer magazine as saying, “When I arrived in the city in 1976. It was the best place in the world. It promised everything. Now the city is so affluent it has all the colours and all the shops but the look of a street from block to block is just terribly absent of distinguishing coffee shops and bodegas. All of that stuff that made it possible to live in New York is gone. I guess there are places in Queens that are affordable.” Parker has also revealed a plotline from the Sex and the City movie.

The 43-year-old actress says Mr Big buys Carrie a new house with a huge wardrobe. She told US Weekly magazine, “The closet was spectacular. For Carrie, the closet is the heart of the house. That’s what is promising about Carrie’s relationship with Mr Big. He doesn’t care about her love for clothes, he doesn’t judge it. We went through 40 or 50 dresses for the movie. They literally came from every continent.”  Meanwhile, director Michael Patrick King has dismissed rumours Mr Big dies in the movie, insisting he would be too scared to kill off Carrie’s love interest
